Cookies and the stored choice
This notice describes what a cookie is, what this site actually stores, and how to clear that choice. It sits alongside the privacy notice. Last revised 20 September 2026.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so a later visit can recognise a preference or a session. Similar storage exists in the browser under the name local storage. It stays on your machine and is not a separate document you file with us.
What this site uses
The pages are static. Loading a page does not require a cookie. The studio does not set advertising cookies and does not run an analytics cookie.
The banner on each page offers Accept and Reject. Your choice is written into local storage under the key focusanchor-cookie-consent, with the value accepted or rejected. Rejecting leaves every page, form, and reading description available. Accepting records the same kind of choice and does not unlock a hidden section of the site.

Third parties
Typefaces are requested from Google Fonts when a page loads. That request may involve Google receiving your IP address and ordinary connection data under Google’s own terms. The studio does not place a Google analytics cookie. If you block third-party requests, the pages still read correctly in the browser’s fallback typefaces.
How to manage or disable storage
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. After that, the banner stays hidden on later visits in the same browser. To see it again, clear site data for focusanchor.click in your browser settings, or remove the local storage entry named above. Browser controls for cookies can also block storage more broadly. The steps differ in each browser and are described in the browser’s own help.
Effect of refusing or clearing the choice
Refusing the banner, or clearing the stored choice, does not block the journal, the rates, the inquiry form, or any reading. You may simply see the banner again on the next visit. Blocking Google Fonts changes the letterforms, not the words.
